This is a cover for 'The Great Gatsby', a novel written by Francis Scott Fitzgerald.
The piece is designed as one of free, which together are a consistent set of book designs.
The graphic elements used in all of them are created out of my experiments with self-made letter patterns.
All these covers invite the viewer to reflect on their elements, since they designed not to be obvious.
This particular cover is made as a patchwork out of a twienties-like font. It presents different patterns made out of the word 'Daisy', which is a name of the Great Gatsby's love, significant for the story. I have used colours, which remind me of money and richness.
